BAS TRUCKS WORKSHOP

TRANSPORT

BAS Trucks has its own transport material to transport bought and sold vehicles. Next, We also have a large drivers pool who are on call to carry out all kinds of transports. Furthermore, BAS Trucks has good contacts with different transporters. The transports we carry out are:

• Collecting bought vehicles

• Delivering vehicles to a European port

• Delivering vehicles to the customer.

If you are a customer or supplier and you want to use our range of transport facilities, you have to indicate this when buying or selling the vehicle in order that BAS Trucks can make a competitive offer.

SHIPMENT

Many sold BAS Trucks are shipped via various European ports. BAS Trucks has good contacts with different European ports, shipping companies and shipping agents, so that we dispose of competitive shipment prices for transport material. BAS Trucks can offer you this service as well as the transport of your bought vehicle to the port in question. If you should wish so, it is also possible to take out a shipment insurance via BAS Trucks.

If BAS Trucks has to arrange the shipment, you should indicate this when buying the vehicle. In this way BAS Trucks can offer you a competitive price and the shipment can be arranged as soon as possible.

INSURANCE

If you drive home with a temporary export registration, the vehicle is not yet insured. BAS Trucks can insure the vehicle for you. A standard insurance of five days will be arranged, which usually is more than enough. In consultation with our seller you can always decide to insure the vehicle for a longer period.

If BAS Trucks has to arrange the temporary insurance, inform our seller immediately, so that the insurance has been taken care of at the time of delivery of the vehicle.

EXPORT REGISTRATION

It is also possible that you, as a customer, drive ‘home’ with the bought vehicle yourself. In this case you must have an export registration. BAS Trucks can arrange this export registration for you. All you have to do is this:

When buying the vehicle inform us that you want to drive the vehicle ‘home’ yourself and that you need a registration. You should indicate this 72 hours before collecting the vehicle, so that BAS Trucks is in possession of the registration when you come to collect the vehicle.
