Independent purchasers Germany, Scandinavia and Italy

BAS Trucks is engaged in the import and export of new and used trucks and trailers. We sell more than 100 trucks and trailers weekly in more than 100 countries worldwide. In order to achieve this, there is a daily enthusiastic team of purchasers working across Europe to purchase trucks and trailers.

Our purchasers are often en route but also use modern means of communication such as Internet and E-mail to keep in touch with suppliers and to purchase vehicles.
As an independent purchaser you are mainly working in the region where you live. During the purchasing process you be will supported by your colleagues in Veghel. They will also follow-up the deal after it is closed so you can pursue to the next purchase challenge.

We work together with several independent purchasers who live outside the Netherlands. Due to the growth of the company, we are currently looking for commercial "die hards" to join our highly motivated team. We are looking for go-getters for the following countries: Italy, Scandinavia and Germany. If you are motivated and you have an affinity with the industry, we are looking for you!

Function:

Buying (and selling) vehicles
Visit, contact and relationship management of existing suppliers;
Finding new suppliers;
Communicating results with the purchasing department;

Job requirements:

Commercial "die hard" (eager to obtain results);
Self-employed;
Living in Italy, Germany or Scandinavia;
Purchasing experience in a commercial environment and / or confidence of his knowledge and ability;
Intermediate Vocational Training / Higher Vocational Education working and thinking;
Good negotiation skills;
Motivated, and goal oriented;
Professional and flexible;
Administrative and organizational versed;
Seeking full time hours;
No “9 to 5” mentality!
